Lekhnath S Pathak is an Assistant Professor in the Central Department of Linguistics, Tribhuvan University and Secretary, QUEST-Nepal. A former Central Executive Member of NELTA, Membership Secretary and Editor of Journal of NELTA and NELTA Newsletter, he has in recent years been active in training and promoting Quality Circles in Nepal and beyond. For his contribution in the organization of 13th International Convention of Students’ Quality Circles in 2010 and promoting SQC in Nepal, he was awarded with “Quality Leader Award” by World Council for Total Quality and Excellence in Education. He was a Visiting Fellow (Overseas Teaching Fellow) to Kingston University, London, UK in 2011. This essay is a condensed version of a paper presented at the 16th International Conference on Quality organized by Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) combined with 1st Conference on Quality organized by Network for Quality, Productivity and Competitiveness, Nepal (NQPCN) at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel in September 2010.
It is really worth reading article for the student of philosophy like me. However, to make the all the readers understand, simplification may be required with a bit more concret implication so as to balance between application and implication. It is true that if the person can manage time on priority basis it is very easy to achieve success. Time and tide wait for none. If the students are able to understand the value of time from early stage of life, they can definitely achieve success in the future. This article not only informs reader how to develop quality of oneself but also it teaches morality and unxplored or ignored parts of eastern philosophy. I really enjoyed reading. This is how we can generate knowledge. Epistemology of knowledge has been properly interpreted by the writer. According to our Nepalese cosmology, we need to adapt ourself – the ideas of eastern philosophy can be a great asset for our ontology so as to identify ourselves unique and and progressive as our axiology. For this, reconstruction of eastern philosophy with postmodern flavour can boost up the understanding of life and its managemet to a greater extent.
